Cargado named to the 2026 FreightTech 100 by FreightWaves
Cargado has been named to the 2026 FreightTech 100 by FreightWaves.
The list recognizes companies changing how freight moves. For us it reflects a year spent building for one thing: cross-border freight between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.
Why this one matters to us
Cross-border freight has long run on fragmented processes, limited visibility and unreliable pricing. Cargado was built for exactly those problems rather than adapted from a domestic product.
Traditional load boards facilitate one-off transactions. Cargado is invite-only on both sides, and brokers use it to build repeat relationships with vetted carriers through spot and contracted posting, with bidding and matching in the platform instead of across phone calls and email.
In the past year:
- Expanded to Canada, connecting freight across all three countries in North America.
- Launched the industry’s first cross-border rate intelligence tool, built on more than 40,000 verified bids across 2,000+ lanes.
- Introduced direct TMS integrations, so loads flow from a broker’s TMS into Cargado without re-keying.
- Grew the network to 1,000+ vetted carriers with 190,000+ trucks.
- Grew the broker base nearly 900% year over year, including more than half of the top 100 brokerages.
Together those give brokers a defensible number to quote from, partners who have been checked, and less of the manual work cross-border has always carried.
What’s next: the FreightTech 25
The FreightTech 100 gets narrowed to the FreightTech 25 by a panel of more than 80 industry executives, investors and academics. The results are announced at F3: Future of Freight Festival in Chattanooga on October 21–22, 2025.
