Example data · Cargado screens follow the product; the inbox, TMS and phone are illustrative.

Chapter 1 · Quote request

A customer needs a rate. You quote from your inbox.

Sitwell Automotive asks for a Monterrey, NL to Chattanooga, TN dry van for October 5. Get Cargado's carrier-cost range, $4,050 low, $4,225 mid, $4,575 high, from your AI assistant through the Cargado API or in Cargado Market Rates. It is carrier cost: add your margin and quote Sitwell $4,750 all-in.

Chapter 2 · Tender

Sitwell accepts. Your team builds the load.

Build load 131500042 from Sitwell's accepted tender. Saving it syncs the load to Cargado in the background. Syncing a load does not post it: your posting rules decide when carriers can see it.

Chapter 3 · Auto-post under your rules

Your rules release the load to the marketplace.

This load has no dedicated carrier. When the preferred-carrier window ends without a commitment, your posting rules release it to the Cargado marketplace, where vetted carriers see it as a live load with a TMS synced tag. Loads that do not pass your rules never post.

Chapter 4 · Carriers notified

Your carrier list controls who can bid.

Carrier Sync uses your approved and do-not-use lists. Approved carriers can bid. Carriers who still need to onboard with you receive your link. Blocked carriers never see the load. Eligible carriers get a load alert on WhatsApp or email and open Cargado to bid.

Chapter 5 · Bids flow back

The carrier's bid returns to your shipment.

Los Fletes Hermanos submits a $4,300 bid, itemized by leg. It lands on load 131500042 in your TMS as a carrier quote. Your Cargado rate rule counters at $4,150, inside the band. The carrier accepts, and the quote is marked Selected on the shipment. Your team then reviews the match and sends the rate confirmation.

Chapter 6 · Covered and confirmed

Confirm pickup details in Cargado Chat.

Gabriel at Los Fletes Hermanos replies in Spanish and you read it in English in Cargado Chat: Mexican partner Transportes Carajillo, truck MX214, trailer TR908, Puente Norte Transfer at Laredo, pickup ETA 7:45 a.m. CST. Covered means your carrier is secured at $4,150 against a $4,750 customer rate; your team sends the rate confirmation. Market Rates informed both your quote and your counter.

What to know before connecting

Which TMS integrations are live?+

See the live TMS connection in Ways to connect above. Other TMS connections use the Cargado API and are planned with our team, and the integration map shows which syncs are live, rolling out or on the roadmap.

Do all my loads post to the marketplace?+

No. Syncing and posting are separate steps. A synced load posts only when it passes your posting rules: dedicated carriers first, preferred carriers next, the marketplace when your rules release it.

Who can bid on my loads?+

Vetted carriers in the invite-only Cargado marketplace, filtered by your list. Approved carriers are eligible, carriers not yet onboarded with you get your onboarding link, and do-not-use carriers never see the load.

Does Selected mean the truck is confirmed?+

Selected means the quote is chosen on the shipment in your TMS. Your team reviews the match and sends the rate confirmation. Truck, crossing and pickup details are confirmed in Cargado Chat.

Where do the rates in the inbox come from?+

The example inbox uses the Cargado Market Rates API: carrier-cost benchmarks (low, mid, high) built from bids on the marketplace and updated weekly. A connected AI assistant can retrieve the same benchmarks. You set the customer quote and margin.
