The story
Cargado, a modern marketplace for Mexico and Canada freight, now has dark mode. It is available today across the browser, desktop and mobile apps, for brokers and carriers.
How to turn it on
Cargado follows your computer's setting. If your computer is set to light mode, Cargado opens in light mode too. Here is how to switch:
- Click your profile picture. It is at the bottom left of the sidebar, on every screen. No photo yet? It shows your initials.
- Choose Personal Information. It is under My Profile, near the bottom of the menu.
- Pick Dark under Appearance. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Or pick System, and Cargado will switch the moment your computer does, with no refresh.
Good to know
- The navigation sidebar and bid status cards stay dark in both themes, on purpose.
- Blues are a little brighter in dark mode, so they stay easy to read on a dark background.
- Your choice is saved in the browser you use, so set it once on each computer.
Also new this fall
Keyboard shortcuts
Post without reaching for the mouse. Ctrl+P starts a new posting and Ctrl+D duplicates one. In any posting form, press T for today, M for tomorrow, and V, R or F for dry van, reefer or flatbed. On a Mac, use ⌘ instead of Ctrl. Read the release note.
Post straight from a rate lookup
Look up a lane in Rates, then start a posting with the lane details already filled in: origin, destination, border crossing and trailer type. Read the release note.
Market Rates in MXN and CAD
Get market rates in Mexican pesos or Canadian dollars, in the app and the API. Switching currency on the same lane does not count as a second lookup. Read the release note.
