Every carrier in Cargado's network goes through multi-step onboarding and verification, including multiple broker references, before they can bid on your freight.

Our integrations with the FMCSA and other data sources monitor carrier safety scores continuously, not just at onboarding. If a carrier's standing changes, we know and act. Cargado takes a strong enforcement posture when any participant demonstrates behavior that's counter to our policies or to conducting business with integrity.

Yes, and for most teams, it's not a heavy lift. If you're on McLeod, Turvo, or Tai, we have existing integrations that can be stood up without a custom build. For proprietary or other TMS platforms, we work through an API-based approach and scope the right starting point together.Either way, the goal is the same: reduce manual posting, keep load and carrier data in sync, and surface things like DNU lists and approved carrier visibility directly in your existing workflow.

Market Rates are built from real carrier bids placed in our marketplace, not surveys, broker estimates, or historical averages. Because the data comes from actual bids, it reflects what carriers are willing to move freight for right now, on the lanes you're quoting.

Rates are presented as a low, mid, and high range with a confidence signal tied to bid density. On high-volume lanes, that signal is strong. When rates are thin, we’ll recommend posting a Potential spot load or dedicated lane to pull live carrier responses, which give you a more defensible number to take to your customer.

No. Cargado runs the marketplace and does not broker freight, own assets, or process the payment between broker and carrier. Standard revenue is broker subscriptions, not brokerage margin or a transaction take-rate.

Broker workspaces are private: your postings are shown to eligible vetted carriers that match the lane and equipment, not to other brokers, and Cargado is not designed as a shipper-facing marketplace.
