Connect with Canadian and Canada–U.S. cross-border partners you can actually trust

Cargado qualifies every carrier and every broker, so you always know who you're working with.

  • Intentional onboarding: 3PLs screened for authority and operating history and meet with us 1:1. Carriers verified against Canadian safety records and FMCSA (US) for authority, safety standing, and permits — with SICT (MX) for Mexico.
  • Domestic and cross-border qualifications: Including PIP and C-TPAT certifications, bonded carriers, equipment, and more — with CTPAT and OEA for Mexico.
  • Ongoing monitoring: Integrations and performance data flag legal changes, fraud risk, safety issues, and carrier-3PL feedback.
  • 3PL-level compliance options: Apply your own compliance requirements at the 3PL level before awarding freight.
  • Verified Chat profiles: With MFA-protected accounts and detailed profiles so you know who you’re talking to.

“It helps us quote fast, and that's when you win it. Customers ask for a rate at 11, and by 11:30 they have it. That speed puts a smile on their faces.”

Prescriptive coverage

Built for the nuances of Canadian and Canada–U.S. cross-border freight

Cargado captures the lanes, crossings, and requirements that legacy load boards ignore. Better details make smarter matches.

Post freight with the specifics that directly impact coverage and execution. Cargado matches freight to the right carriers faster, for fewer questions, higher-quality bids, and more accurate pricing.

  • Border crossings and service area
  • Compliance and certifications like C-TPAT and PIP (CTPAT and OEA for Mexico)
  • Equipment nuances
  • Transfer type: door-to-door versus transload

“The best part about Cargado is we don't have to search the board unless we need to. Cargado actually messages us when there's freight available.”

All it takes is one posting for smarter routing to the right carriers

Post the requirements that determine coverage, and Cargado matches your freight to the best-fit carriers, alerts them where they’re most likely to respond, and centralizes bids and negotiation. Move from posting to booking faster.

Post once with your exact requirements

Including lane and service area, equipment, compliance and certifications, and transfer type (door-to-door versus transload). This way, the right carrier sees it and the wrong ones don’t.

Three app notifications: step deck load timing, rate accepted Laredo to Puebla pickup Jan 12, CTPAT certification query.

Carriers receive notifications via their preferred channels

Instead of posting and praying, Cargado routes freight to the best-match carriers where they are, so the right carriers see the opportunity quickly and can place a bid.

Get a list of recommended carriers

Cargado generates a ranked list of recommended carriers based on your lane, equipment, and requirements, on even your toughest-to-cover freight, so you start with the carriers most likely to say yes.

“Once you take the time to build your profile, Cargado is good at giving you just the loads that work. The system doesn’t fill my inbox with stuff I can’t service. I’m seeing just my lanes, just the stuff I want to look at.”

Is Cargado an open load board?

No. Cargado is an invite-only marketplace. Every broker is screened for authority and operating history, and every carrier is verified against FMCSA (U.S.) and SICT (Mexico) records with continuous safety monitoring. A posting board is part of the workflow, but targeted matching, carrier notifications, verified chat, and market rates are what actually get freight covered.

How do posting and bidding work?

Post a load once with the details that determine coverage: lane, border crossing, equipment, certifications like CTPAT and OEA, and door-to-door versus transload. Cargado notifies best-fit carriers through their preferred channels, generates a ranked list of recommended carriers, and centralizes bids, questions, and counters in one workflow instead of email, calls, and message threads.

How does Cargado vet carriers and brokers?

Every carrier passes an authority and safety review against FMCSA (U.S.) and SICT (Mexico) records and is monitored continuously for legal changes, fraud risk, and safety issues. Mexico and Canada qualifications are tracked on every profile, including CTPAT and OEA certifications, bonded status, equipment, and border crossings. Brokers are screened too, so carriers know every posting comes from a verified counterparty.

What does Cargado cost?

Carriers use the marketplace at no cost. Brokers pay a value-based annual subscription with unlimited users on every plan. There is no per-seat pricing and no commission on loads. Plans scale with the value you get from the marketplace, from four figures a year for growing teams toward six figures for enterprise operations.

Can I use Cargado for dedicated lanes and RFP freight, or just spot loads?

Both. Post spot loads for fast one-off coverage, lock in dedicated lanes with preferred carriers, and post potentials to gauge real carrier rates and interest before you commit. Many brokers also price RFPs with Cargado Market Rates, built from real carrier bids across 12,000+ Mexico and Canada lanes.
