“Cargado Market Rates helps us quote fast, and that’s when you win it. Customers ask for a rate at 11, and by 11:30 they have it. That speed puts a smile on their faces.”

Unlike a load board, Cargado lets brokers post lanes, projects, and potential freight, on top of one-off spot loads. Turn one-off coverage into repeatable capacity by consistently matching with carriers who want your freight, lanes, and border crossings.
Find fast, reliable coverage for a load in hand or one-off shipment.
Lock in rates and capacity with preferred carriers.
Line up a truck, or trucks, in hand before you win the freight, for one load or a lane's repeat or project volume. It also tests a lane that's hard to cover.
So you don’t have to build your own from scratch.

“Having a double vetting process is almost essential these days."

Post a load or lane to the Cargado marketplace and get bids from a targeted set of vetted Mexico and Canada carriers that want that freight. Match fast with the right carrier without having to call around.

Connect with the right carrier faster on even your toughest-to-cover postings. Cargado suggests vetted carriers that meet your requirements before a single bid is placed. Chat translates messages between English, Spanish, and French. Carrier chat is in beta.

Win a few Mexico lanes, prove reliability, and use it as a wedge into accounts you couldn't crack before and a way to grow the ones you already have.
Your domestic U.S. customers likely have Mexico freight they're giving to someone else or not controlling at all. Offering cross-border turns you from a domestic provider into a North American partner. Mexico freight is often production-driven volume that ships week after week.
Mexico freight might not be your customers' highest volume, but it's their most annoying. They're focused on the 80% that moves domestically and have little control over what's happening south of the border. Solve that for them and you become the one they can't replace.
Most brokers hesitate on Mexico freight. That's why starting now is your edge. While your competitors sit on the opportunity, you'll build carrier relationships, lane knowledge, and operational confidence that can't be replicated overnight.

Every carrier in Cargado's network goes through multi-step onboarding and verification, including multiple broker references, before they can bid on your freight.
Our integrations with the FMCSA and other data sources monitor carrier safety scores continuously, not just at onboarding. If a carrier's standing changes, we know and act. Cargado takes a strong enforcement posture when any participant demonstrates behavior that's counter to our policies or to conducting business with integrity.
For compliance workflows, Cargado is designed to complement your existing internal carrier onboarding tools, not replace them. We're happy to walk through how that fits your team's process.
Yes, and for most teams it is not a heavy lift. We have working integrations with the major broker TMS platforms that can be stood up without a custom build, and for proprietary or less common systems we work through an API-based approach and scope the right starting point together. Our team sets it up with your TMS admin, with nothing for your team to install. Either way the goal is the same: reduce manual posting, keep load and carrier data in sync, and surface DNU lists and approved-carrier visibility directly in your existing workflow. Your carriers sync first, so anyone you have marked do-not-use never sees your freight. Nothing posts automatically. Every load waits in Cargado until you decide, and autoposting rules can make that call for you when you are ready, applied broadly or set lane by lane. Your TMS stays the system of record.
Market Rates are built from real carrier bids placed in our marketplace, not surveys, broker estimates, or historical averages, and they are refreshed weekly. Because the data comes from actual bids, they reflect what carriers are willing to move freight for on the lanes you're quoting.
Rates are presented as a low, mid, and high range with a confidence signal tied to bid density. On high-volume lanes, that signal is strong. When rates are thin, we’ll recommend posting a Potential spot load or dedicated lane to pull live carrier responses, which give you a more defensible number to take to your customer.
For RFPs and bulk lane pricing, the Excel Add-In lets you pull market rates for hundreds of lanes at once directly in your workbook. More on this below, or visit our Market Rates page.
The Cargado Excel Add-In lets you pull market rates for your full lane list directly in Excel without any copying, tab-switching, or manual lookups. Price hundreds of lanes in seconds and get back to customers fast with rates you are confident in.
For lanes where the confidence signal is lower, like on newer corridors, in thinner markets, or with unusual equipment, post a Potential load to pull live carrier responses and anchor your pricing with real bid data, instead of just an estimate, before you commit.
These tools were built to complement each other: The Add-In to move fast for bulk-quoting a lane list and Potential loads and lanes to validate where the stakes or uncertainty are higher.
No. Cargado runs the marketplace and does not broker freight, own assets, or process the payment between broker and carrier. Standard revenue is broker subscriptions, not brokerage margin or a transaction take-rate.
Broker workspaces are private: your postings are shown to eligible vetted carriers that match the lane and equipment, not to other brokers, and Cargado is not designed as a shipper-facing marketplace.
Bring three lanes you quote today. We'll show you our market rates, built from real carrier bids, and the vetted carriers who would cover them. Thirty minutes, tailored to your team.
No commission or percentage on loads. The rate confirmation, onboarding, and payment stay directly between you and the carrier through your own TMS: the relationship is yours. See how a marketplace fits alongside your TMS.
