The story
Cargado is a modern marketplace for Mexico and Canada freight. Today, Cargado Chat is live. Brokers and carriers can now message each other inside Cargado, in one secure, organized place.
Finding freight often means juggling WhatsApp, email, texts and phone calls, sometimes all for the same load. Conversations get lost. Rates get confused. Chat brings those conversations into Cargado, with built-in tools to find capacity faster and communicate across languages.
For brokers
- Engage suggested carriers. Find capacity before carriers even bid on your postings. Message suggested carriers already vetted for legal and special requirements, even on your toughest-to-cover postings.
- Know who you're talking to. Accounts are protected with multi-factor authentication (MFA), and profiles show each person's role, company, location and preferred language.
- Keep conversations organized. Cargado organizes conversations by posting. When a carrier mentions a rate, Chat prompts them to submit a quote, so pricing stays in context.
For carriers
- Talk to the broker directly. Ask questions before you bid, follow up on a match and negotiate in real time.
- One thread per load. Every conversation is tied to the freight you're discussing, with your bid history, negotiation details and match status in one place.
- Bid from the conversation. Mention a rate and Chat prompts you to submit a formal bid right there.
In your language
Every message is translated automatically into English, Spanish or French. Type in your language and the other side reads it in theirs. You can switch between the original and the translation at any time.
Get started
Log in to Cargado. Brokers can message a suggested carrier from a posting's Coverage tab. Carriers can open any posting and message the logistics company behind it.
Chat works best with push notifications, so you never miss a message. Download the desktop and mobile apps at app.cargado.com/download. They're available on iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.
