Mexico freight software for U.S. brokers

Price the lane in dollars or pesos, post it with the crossing and the equipment Mexico runs, get bids from carriers our team has reviewed, and talk to them in Spanish without speaking it. Cargado runs next to the TMS you already have.

What a Mexico desk needs, and what Cargado covers

Mexico freight asks four things of a U.S. broker that its domestic desk is not set up for: a carrier that runs the crossing your customer uses, door-to-door or with a transload; a rate in the right currency; a carrier whose Mexican authority and company documents someone has looked at; and a way to talk to that carrier in Spanish. Cargado puts those four in one workflow. It is not a TMS, it does not move the freight, and it does not do your customs paperwork. Your TMS stays the system of record, and the carriers you book move the load.

Crossings and transfer type

Post the crossing and whether the move is door-to-door or transload. Cargado tracks which crossings each carrier runs.

Rates in USD or MXN

Low, mid and high bands from real carrier bids, in the currency you ask for.

Reviewed Mexican carriers

RFC, SICT permit and company documents reviewed by our team before an account is turned on.

Chat in Spanish

Messages auto-translate between English and Spanish, tied to the load.

The Mexico desk, in one workflow

1

Price the lane

Pick the equipment, the origin, the destination and the crossing. Cargado recommends a crossing when the bid data supports one. You get low, mid and high bands from real carrier bids over the trailing 12 weeks, refreshed weekly, in USD or MXN. The bands are what carriers bid, not your sell rate; add your margin.

2

Post it with the Mexico details

Crossing, service area, door-to-door or transload, equipment, and requirements such as CTPAT, OEA, bonded status or cargo insurance. The carriers that fit see it; the ones that do not, do not.

3

Work the bids

Cargado suggests carriers that fit before any bid comes in. Each bid shows the carrier's DOT, MC or SCT number and where it stands with your company. Compare, counter and accept in one place. Block any carrier you do not want.

4

Cover it and talk in Spanish

Chat is tied to the load and auto-translates between English and Spanish, so pickup, crossing and delivery questions get answered without a translator.

How Mexican carriers get onto Cargado

A carrier based in Mexico can apply without a USDOT number. It submits its RFC and constancia de situación fiscal, its SICT operating permit, proof of address and ID for its legal representative, and, for companies, the acta constitutiva. Our carrier team reviews the documents before turning the account on. Until then the carrier cannot see or bid on freight. Carriers applying today also give three references from companies they have hauled for.

  • U.S.-based carriers that run Mexico lanes apply with their USDOT number, looked up in FMCSA records, and need active common or contract authority before the account is turned on.
  • If your load needs U.S. registration or authority on the Mexican carrier, confirm the carrier holds it before you tender.
  • Carriers state certifications like CTPAT, OEA, bonded status or cargo insurance on their own profile. Confirm them before you tender. Cargado's review does not replace your own onboarding.
  • You can block a carrier on any posting, and if you report a carrier our team can restrict or deactivate the account.
"Having a double vetting process is almost essential these days."

Mexico coverage, city guides and crossing guides

Mexico lanes priced in dollars or pesos

U.S.–Mexico in both directions is the largest corridor in Market Rates, on lanes like Laredo–Monterrey and Guadalajara–Laredo. Domestic Mexico is live and priced in pesos by default, on moves between manufacturing hubs, ports and the border. Each lookup returns low, mid and high bands with a confidence badge; a thin lane gets a lower confidence badge rather than a made-up number. Price a whole Mexico RFP in Excel with the add-in, or pull the bands into your pricing engine through the API.

How Market Rates works

Works next to your TMS

Cargado is not a TMS. Loads sync from your TMS into Cargado and post under your rules. On McLeod, Tai and Turvo integrations, bids and bookings flow back into your TMS; on other systems, your team records the booking in your TMS. Which systems are supported, how the marketplace differs from a load board, and how the subscription is priced are on the freight broker software page.

Common questions

Do I need a Mexico office or a Spanish speaker to use Cargado?
No. The carriers on Cargado already run Mexico, chat auto-translates between English and Spanish, and Market Rates gives you a number in dollars or pesos. You still run your own carrier onboarding and your own customs arrangements.
How does Cargado vet Mexican carriers?
A Mexican carrier submits its RFC and constancia de situación fiscal, its SICT operating permit, proof of address and ID for its legal representative, and the acta constitutiva for companies. Our team reviews the documents before turning the account on, and the carrier cannot see or bid on freight until then. Carriers also give three references. Cargado's review does not replace your own onboarding.
Can I quote a Mexico lane today?
Yes, once your account is on. Pick equipment, origin, destination and crossing, and you get low, mid and high bands from real carrier bids over the trailing 12 weeks, in USD or MXN. The bands are what carriers bid, not your sell rate, so add your margin. If a lane has no data, post it as a potential and get real bids instead.
Do you cover domestic Mexico, moves that stay inside Mexico?
Yes. Domestic Mexico is live in Market Rates, priced in pesos by default, and the marketplace posts domestic Mexico freight on Mexican equipment such as Tortón and Rabón as well as dry van, reefer and open deck.
Door-to-door or transload: which carriers will I see?
Both. You set the transfer type on the posting, and Cargado matches carriers that run the move that way. Door-to-door and transload partners are both on the network.
Is Cargado a TMS or a customs broker?
Neither. Cargado is a marketplace and a rate-data tool. Your TMS stays the system of record, and customs clearance stays with your customs broker and the carrier's paperwork. What Cargado does is track which crossings each carrier runs and let you post the crossing, so the right carriers see the load.
