How to send us your truck list
Email your truck list to trucks@cargado.com, or send it on WhatsApp to Cargado Trucks, from your Cargado account. We post the trucks and reply with loads that fit.
In 4 steps
- Send it from your Cargado email or phone
- Put the list in the message
- Say where, when and what
- Read our reply and check Posted Trucks
Step 1: Send it from your Cargado email or phone
By email: send your list to trucks@cargado.com from the email you use to log in to Cargado.
By WhatsApp: send it to Cargado Trucks on WhatsApp at +1 (956) 539-3145 from the phone number on your Cargado account.
Important: we only read lists sent from the email or phone on an active Cargado carrier account. New to Cargado? Sign up first.
Step 2: Put the list in the message
By email: paste the list in the body of the email. We don't read the subject line or attachments, so put the date in the body of the email, not only in the subject, and paste the list instead of attaching a spreadsheet or PDF.
On WhatsApp: type the list. Send the whole list in one message. Each new list replaces the last.
Step 3: Say where, when and what
Write the list the way you already send it to logistics companies. For each truck, include:
- Where it's empty: the city and state, like Louisville, KY.
- The day it's free, like Monday.
- The trailer type. If you leave it out, we post it as a Dry Van (53ft).
- How many trucks, if more than one.
- Where you want to go, if you have a preference: a city, a state or a whole country, like Laredo, TX or Mexico.
For example:
Monday
Louisville, KY: 2 dry vans to Laredo, TX or Mexico
Lexington, KY: 1 reefer
A line with no place or no day is skipped.
Border crossings and requirements: writing them in the list doesn't change which loads match. Set them on the truck in the app: open it under Posted Trucks, click Edit, then More filters, the button with a number at the end of the trailer row. Changes you make in the app to a truck from a list last until your next list on that channel replaces it.
Step 4: Read our reply and check Posted Trucks
We post your trucks and reply the same way you sent the list. If loads match, the reply lists up to 20 of them. Click See all matches in the email, or the See all loads button on WhatsApp (it shows how many loads), to open them in Cargado and bid on what works. If nothing matches yet, the reply says your trucks are posted. On the Load board, a gray truck tag marks loads that pick up near one of your posted trucks, and logistics companies that post a matching load can reach you in Cargado chat.
The trucks show under Posted Trucks, like trucks you post yourself. On the Post a truck page, the Source column says Email or WhatsApp. To change or remove one, see How do I post an empty truck?
Get notified about new loads
We reply right away with the loads that fit. If a load going your way gets posted later, we let you know by email or WhatsApp. To choose how, go to Settings, then Notifications, and set Truck list. We don't post your number, and logistics companies only see your truck when they have a load that fits.
Good to know
- A new list replaces the last one: a list you email replaces your last emailed list, and a WhatsApp list replaces your last WhatsApp list. Changes you make in the app to a truck from a list last until your next list on that channel replaces it. Trucks you posted yourself in the app stay. A teammate's list doesn't replace yours.
- No reply? Either we couldn't match the email or phone to one Cargado account, or we couldn't read any trucks in the message. Your last list stays posted. Check that you sent it from the email you log in with, or the phone number on your Cargado account, and that each truck has a place and a day, then send it again. If your login belongs to more than one company on Cargado, email carriers@cargado.com.
- Sending a new list by email? Send a new email instead of replying to ours. A reply to our email goes to our carrier team and isn't read as a list.
Still stuck?
