Cargado translates chat messages automatically. When a translation reads badly and you know the language it came from, you can now turn translation off for that language. The option shows for messages in English, Spanish or French.

How to use it

  1. Under a translated message, click Show original.
  2. Click the option named for the message's language, such as I know French.
  3. In Add French as a known language, click Confirm.

The page reloads. From then on, messages in that language show as they were written.

Good to know

  • The translation is still there: click Show translated under a message to read it translated.
  • Your app language stays the same: the language is added to your preferred languages, and the app keeps the language it uses now.
  • Just for you: the setting is per person, so your teammates still see translations.
  • Change it any time: manage your Preferred languages at app.cargado.com/settings/language-and-region. See Change your language, and read chat in your own.
