Where the language setting lives, which languages we support, and how chat translation works.
Cargado runs in four languages: English, English for Canada, Spanish for Mexico, and French for Canada. The setting is per person, not per company, so everyone on a team can work in a different one.
This is a list you order, not a single choice. The language at the top is the one the app uses, and it is marked Primary. Drag another one above it to switch. Use Add a language to put more on the list. The change saves on its own and the page reloads in the new language.
Listing more than one language is worth doing even though only the top one sets the interface, because the rest control how chat behaves.
Messages are translated automatically, so a broker writing in English is read in Spanish and the reply comes back in English.
Every translated message has a Show original link. Use it whenever the wording matters, on a rate or an appointment time, so you can see exactly what the other person typed.
If you already read the other person's language, you do not have to keep switching. Cargado shows a message in its original language whenever the sender's language is on your preferred list. There is also an I know this language action on a translated message that adds it to your list on the spot.
