The Do Not Use list: per posting you can do it yourself, company-wide we do it for you.
There are two ways to keep a carrier away from your freight, and only one of them is self-serve.
On the posting form there is a Block carriers section with a Blocked carriers (Do Not Use) field. Search for the carrier by company name, DOT, MC, SCAC or their Mexican identifiers, type at least three characters, and pick them from the list.
A blocked carrier does not see the posting in their feed at all. They are not told they were blocked, and they cannot bid on it.
Any active user on your team can do this. It is not restricted to admins.
One limit worth knowing: the search matches carriers that already exist on Cargado. You cannot block a name that is not in the system, because there is nothing yet to block.
If you never want a carrier seeing any of your freight, that is a different setting and there is no button for it. Send your success manager, or success@cargado.com, your do-not-use list. Company name plus DOT or MC for each one is enough. From then on those carriers never see your postings.
Send the whole list rather than one name at a time. Most brokers already keep one, and handing it over once at setup is quicker than blocking case by case for the next year.
If you use Highway, your do-not-use designations can sync across automatically. Ask your success manager to set that up.
