Post flatbed, oversize, power-only and other special moves

Flatbed, RGN, oversize and power-only post directly. Transload needs two postings, drayage has no posting yet, and tanker is not supported.

Most specialized freight posts directly on the standard posting form. Flatbed and RGN, oversize and overweight loads, and power-only moves all have a place in the form already. Transload needs two postings instead of one, container drayage has no dedicated posting yet, and tanker freight is not supported at all.

Flatbed, RGN and other open-deck equipment

Under Trailer Requirements, open Trailer Type and pick from the open-deck options: Flatbed, Step Deck, Double Drop, RGN, and three Conestoga variants. You can select more than one trailer type on a single posting.

Open-deck trailers are in the Other list. You can pick more than one.

Equipment requirements

Also under Trailer Requirements, you can ask for specific equipment: Food Grade, E-tracks, Logistics Posts, Metal Edge Protectors, Lift Gate, a Maximum Trailer Age Requirement, Minimum Axles, floor and wall types, and more, depending on the trailer type you picked.

Oversize and overweight freight

You do not check a box for this. Cargado flags a commodity Oversize automatically once its dimensions cross a threshold, and flags the load Overweight automatically once its total weight crosses one. Enter the real dimensions and weight, and the flag follows on its own.

Enter the dimensions. Cargado flags the load as Oversize when it is over legal size.

Overall dimensions are only captured when you select an open-deck trailer type and post it as a full truckload. On a partial truckload, enter per-piece dimensions instead.

Power-only moves

Power-only is its own choice in the Mode section, alongside Full truckload and Partial truckload (LTL). Pick Power Only, then a Power Only Type: pre-loaded, load-out, or tow-away.

Choose Power Only, then say whether the trailer is pre-loaded, loaded out or towed away.

Transload moves

There is no posting type for a transload. Post each leg separately instead: one posting from origin to the border facility, and a second from the facility to the final destination.

Container drayage

Cargado has no dedicated posting for container drayage. Talk to your Cargado success manager before you try to post one.

Tanker freight

Tanker is not a supported trailer type. Cargado does not support tanker moves.
