Find, filter and repost your freight on the Freight tab
The Freight tab holds every posting your company has made. Pick a view, choose whose freight you see, search by ID, then post it again or duplicate it.
The Freight tab lists your company's freight, posted or not. Freight that comes down is not deleted, so you can post it again or copy it.
Step 1: Pick a view
The menu on the left splits your freight by stage. Each view shows freight in the workspace you have selected.
- Posted: live on the board now.
- Review to Post: freight that is not on the board yet. Some may still need details. Freight you took down shows here too, as long as its dates have not passed and it has no match. A load from your TMS also needs its TMS status set to available.
- Pending Bids: a bid is waiting for your answer, or your counter is waiting for the carrier's. See Why does my posting say Respond?
- Matched: freight with a match.
- All freight: posted and unposted freight together, including freight that came down, which shows as Not Posted. Narrow it with the status filter.
Step 2: Choose whose freight you see
The switch at the top left has two or three icons. Point at each to see its name: Covered By You, Covered By Your Teams and Covered By Anyone. Review to Post and All freight start on everyone's freight; the other views start on yours.
Tip: A manager can choose Covered By Your Teams to see the freight assigned to their coverage teams. That icon only appears once you belong to a team.
Step 3: Search or filter
Type in Search to find a posting by its Load ID or Lane ID, its Customer ID, a city, or the name of the person who posted it. With several words, a result must match all of them.
For more, choose More Filters (Filters on a smaller screen). You can filter by origin, destination, trailer type, border crossing and coverage owner, and by coverage team if your company has more than one team. Freight IDs takes a list of IDs separated by commas. Choose See freight to apply, or Reset all to go back to the view's starting filters.
Step 4: Post it again, or duplicate it
Click the freight to open it. On a computer, Duplicate and Actions sit at the top right.
- Post it again: choose Actions, then Post. It appears when the freight is not posted and has no match. A TMS load also needs an available TMS status. Set the bidding details and choose Post to Cargado. If the last posting had a target rate, it is filled in. The custom message starts empty, so write it again.
- Duplicate: opens a new posting with the details copied from this one. Pickup and delivery times are left blank for you to fill in. The original freight does not change.
Important: To post, an exact appointment time must be in the future, and an appointment window must not have ended. If they have passed, use Duplicate, or change them first with Edit freight details.
Change a posting that is live
On the Posting tab, choose Edit next to Bidding Details to change the target rate or Instant Responses, or pick a new owner or coverage team. The posting stays up.
To change freight details such as stops, dates or equipment, choose Actions, then Edit freight details. Cargado asks you to take the posting down first. That closes every open bid, and you can no longer accept them. Post it again when your changes are saved.
To just take it down, choose Actions, then Take posting down.
