I won the freight. What happens now?
Once your rate is accepted, you onboard with the logistics company if needed and they send a rate confirmation. Find wins under My loads and My lanes.
When a logistics company accepts your rate, you have a match. If you are not onboarded with that logistics company yet, you onboard first. Then they assign you in their own system and send you a rate confirmation. Payment, documents and tracking are handled directly between you and the logistics company.
Step 1: Read the Rate Accepted! screen
A match happens when the logistics company accepts your bid, when you book at the price on the Book now button, or when you accept their counter offer.
If the match happens while you act on the posting, because you book with Book now, accept their counter, or your bid is accepted the moment you submit it, you see Rate Accepted! with the next steps:
- If that logistics company already has you onboarded, it says they will send a rate confirmation.
- If not, it says you need to onboard before you receive a rate confirmation.
Click Message Broker to open your chat with them and confirm the details.

If the logistics company accepts your bid later, you do not see this screen. The posting shows that they accepted your bid, and your chat with them gets a match message.
Step 2: Check the match message in Chat
Your chat with the logistics company shows a match message with the agreed rate. If the message shows Onboard now, click it to open their onboarding form, and fill it out before anything else.

Once the rate is accepted, phone numbers and email addresses are no longer blocked in that chat. See How does chat with a logistics company work?
Step 3: Find your matched loads and lanes
- My loads in the left menu lists the loads you won. Until you win one, it says "No booked loads yet."
- My lanes lists the lanes you won.
Each page has a menu in its title. Switch from Loads to Potential loads, or from Lanes to Potential lanes, to see the potential postings where your bid was used.
If it was a Potential Load or Potential Lane
"Potential" means the logistics company has not won that freight from its customer yet. When they use your bid while you act on the posting, you see Bid used! instead of Rate Accepted!. Either way, they use your rate to bid on the freight. If they win it, expect to hear from them. A Potential posting is not a guaranteed load.
Payment, documents and tracking
Cargado does not pay you and does not charge you. Payment terms, invoicing, documents and tracking are worked out between you and the logistics company. Ask them about their payment terms. See How do I get paid after I win a load?
Still stuck?
