What each no-rate message means, in the app, Excel and the API, and what to do next, including posting the lane as a potential.
A lane with no market rate almost always means there were too few recent carrier bids on it to publish a reliable band. It does not mean no carrier runs it. Here is what each message means and what to do about it.
Cargado checks the trailing 12 weeks and leaves out any week without enough data. If every week comes up short, you get this message instead of a guess. The same case reads No rates found for the given input in the Excel add-in and the API. On a posting, the Market Rate card shows No data available for this lane.
What to do:
Tip: market rates are built from bids on the marketplace, so posting a thin lane is also how it gets a rate next time.

This is a rate, not an error. When one end of the lane did not have enough data at its own market, Cargado used a wider area around it. Expect a less certain band, and read the confidence label before you quote. See How to read a market rate.

In the app you must pick a suggestion from the Origin and Destination lists, so this is rare there. In Excel and the API, places are typed as text and Cargado looks them up. If it cannot match a place to a market, you see Could not geocode stop. Add the state or province and the country, for example "Monterrey, NLE, MX", or use a postal code.

There is no input for hazmat, team drivers, oversize or overweight, partial truckload or round trips, and the posting page does not show a Market Rate card for those moves. Post them and let carriers price them.
This means your company has used the lookups included in its plan for the period. The message shows when the limit resets. A billing admin sees Enable on-demand. Everyone else sees Request on-demand, which asks your own billing admins. See Plan limits, and what the usage warning emails mean.

Other errors show as a red banner at the top of the Rates page for a few seconds. Try again. If it keeps happening, email success@cargado.com with the lane and the message.
Email us and a person on our team will answer. Send the posting link or a screenshot if you have one.
