Persona física and persona moral: when you have two profiles

Why a change of taxpayer type means a new carrier profile, and how to retire the old one.

Cargado reads your RFC to tell which kind of taxpayer you are. A 13-character RFC belongs to a persona física, and a 12-character RFC belongs to a persona moral. The carrier application asks for an RFC. If you only have a CURP, email carriers@cargado.com before you apply.

The application reads your RFC: 13 characters for a persona física, 12 for a persona moral.

A persona física and a persona moral are different taxpayers, so on Cargado they are different carrier profiles. Two profiles cannot be merged into one.

If you incorporated

If you started as a persona física and now operate as a persona moral, apply again with the new company's RFC and documents through the carrier application. Then email carriers@cargado.com with both RFCs and tell us which profile to keep, and we will close the other one. That way your bids go out under the right company.
