A Mexican carrier's Cargado profile carries its RFC (tax ID) and SCT permit, along with the supporting documents Cargado collects at signup: constancia de situación fiscal, acta constitutiva, proof of address, and the legal representative's ID.
On the posting form, under Border Crossing, you choose how the load moves at the crossing: Pre-set transfer (you already have a transfer arranged; for freight headed into Mexico, this also means no B1 drivers), or Transfer by carrier (the bidding carrier handles getting the freight across). Cross-border freight needs a customs broker to clear it. If your customer does not have one, help them find one before you book the load. Let the customs broker quote their fees to your customer directly rather than folding them into your rate.
A match does not hand off the paperwork. You still onboard the carrier through your own process, assign them in your TMS, send your own rate confirmation, and pay them directly. Cargado never touches carrier payment, for a Mexican carrier or any other.
